Bucket of Sound is the collaborative portfolio of composers Guy Dowsett and Jake Cartwright. The music posted on this website compiles an extensive collection of their respective solo work and showcases the music they've created together. Since 2007 the pair have combined their skills and sonic obsessions to compose and produce music for theatre, circus and film as well as an EP recorded in September 2009.

The mission of Bucket of Sound is to melt idea and sound. Sound is fundamental to life and creation. Our organic approach engages acoustic musicianship and the sounds around us, freely integrated and empowered by the flex of electronic synthesis and plug-in manipulation. 

Solid upbringings in music performance, compositional theory and practical application fuses with an ever growing fascination with audio recording and the possibilities spawned from cutting edge technology.
